My name is Shamrawk Bailly, and I'm addicted to Second Life ™ . I joined in 2005, and then came back in 2008. Over the last 2 years I have accomplished a lot, not only in RL, but in SL as well. When I came back in 08, it was like going down the rabbit hole (hence the picture above). The world I left in 2006 was no longer familiar. Hair no longer looked like pointy weeds sprouting from one's head, skirts could MOVE, and the skins.. oh god, I still have nightmares from remembering how crappy skins were in 05/06. I could go on and on about the amazing changes I came back to, but you know..you're there. :P In my RL I'm a full time student, and also work full time at a University. I'm also an aspiring novelist, and enjoy curling up with a glass of wine and a good book when I have the time. /end RL blurb.
Since coming back, I've noticed that I have become kind of a snob when it comes to clothes,hair, etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm not someone who shops at ONLY well known stores, but I'm much more dicerning about what I will put on my avatar than I was in my noob days (and the first 2 months of my return). I've gone to some well known stores (and i'm not going to name names..ever) and was not impressed AT ALL, but in the same turn - I've gone to stores that are not so well known, and have struck gold. /jumps off soapbox. This outfit in particular is not a great example of my eclectic taste in stores; most of it is from some of SLs finest, but the dress and necklace are both from xstreet, and I had never heard of either designers before. Anyways, enough with the rambling, onto the ending and credits.
I created this blog because I got bored with just shopping, coming up with outfits that I love, and never letting anyone (other than friends and people i pass by in world) see what I've thrown together.
